Planning
Welcome to the Michigan Bridal Planner. Maybe you have hired a wedding planner. Perhaps you have friends and family who will help you plan. Regardless, the planning process can be immense, and you'll want to be sure that you have the information you need, when you need it.
Using this book:
This book should serve as a general reference to help you navigate the choices available and the resources you need. We've included helpful pockets in addition to interactive forms you can use as you collect information.
Being your own wedding planner
Even if you hire a professional, you'll want to ensure that your event reflects your tastes, and that you retain any important contracts and information. Invest in a three-ring binder and include:
- Plastic sleeves for ideas, and photos of your dress and venue that you can show to vendors
- Plastic pockets to tuck day planners and your Michigan Bridal Planner
- Dividers that will help you organize the forms you have downloaded from the Internet from mibridalplanner.com
Ideas
As you embark upon the planning process, you might discover helpful tips or ideas that will be useful to other brides. Feel free to send those ideas to llacina@thirdstreetpublications.com so we can incorporate them into future editions.
